Smith & Wollensky Restaurant Group (SWRG) will open a location in Taipei, Taiwan. When this location opens in December, it will be Smith & Wollensky’s first licensed location outside the U.S.
The Taipei restaurant will occupy the 47th floor of Breeze Nanshan Plaza. The restaurant will feature a live music bar – exclusive to this location. To appeal to the workers and shoppers in this more upscale part of the city, Smith & Wollensky will serve a traditional steakhouse menu as well as Taiwanese cuisine. S&W Restaurants (Taiwan) will operate this location.
Smith & Wollensky opened its first international location in 2015 in London. The Taipei location represents the chain’s first in the Asia-Pacific region.
