FUSIAN is a fast-casual sushi concept that launched in 2010 and has grown to seven locations in Ohio. Known for its build-your-own approach to sushi, the redesign sharpens how the brand presents its “Sushi for You” positioning, reinforcing customization and ingredient quality while modernizing visuals across menus, packaging and in-store elements.

Cincinnati-based branding agency Dewhaus led the rebrand.

The Flying Tiger symbol is the centerpiece of the refresh. It’s a “FUSIAN” of an eagle and tiger that ties the brand name to a visual symbol, creating a more unified and recognizable touchpoint from ordering through final product delivery. Details including a curled sushi roll tail and chopsticks carried in the creature’s mouth — a bold expression that appears across packaging, menu boards, merchandise and in-store environments, creating a consistent look.

“The goal was always to make FUSIAN feel like yours — something personal and unique,” says Stephan Harman, co-founder and CEO of FUSIAN. “After 16 years of building it, this rebrand is making that messaging unmistakable.”

Other changes include menu tweaks — new options and updated names — that build on the chain’s large-format rolls, Asian bowls and flexible ordering format.

“Rebranding FUSIAN is about more than a new look — it’s about sharpening how we show up for our guests every day,” says Tyson Yirak, marketing director of FUSIAN. “We’ve evolved the brand to better reflect the quality of our ingredients, the creativity of our menu and the convenience our customers rely on. This next chapter is cleaner, more confident and built to grow with our community.”
