Military-Themed Bombshells Expands in Houston
RCI Hospitality Holdings, Inc. is invading the Houston market with Bombshells, its military-themed casual sports bar/restaurant concept. The newest Bombshells opened in early November in suburban Spring, Texas, one of three new units in the Houston area and the fifth for the concept in Texas. Three additional Houston units are planned as well.

DIY Debuts New Co-Branded Pizza, Frozen Yogurt Restaurant
DIY Restaurant Group launched its newest operation, named uBuild + Trugurt Duo, in Oakbrook Terrace, Ill., this week. The dual-branded restaurant is the first marriage of Chicago-based DIY’s fast-casual uBuild Pizza Workshop with its dessert concept, Trugurt Frozen Yogurt, offering guests customizable frozen yogurt, smoothies, pizza, pasta, salads and more in an eco-friendly environment.
SONIC Drive-In Opens Culinary Innovation Center
SONIC Drive-In has opened its new Culinary Innovation Center, a state-of-the-art venue where the chain’s culinary experts test new menu ideas, equipment, recipes and products. The company says the new facility is an important component in fueling its overall growth strategy, including its goal of 1,000 new drive-ins in 10 years.

Tippling Hall Design Celebrates Chicago’s Industrial Past
