Pei Wei Asian Diner opened its first Asia location in South Korea at Starfield Hanam, the country’s largest shopping mall. The chain partnered with ELX Food & Beverage, led by Chef Justin Choi, who will supervise the brand in the market.
Meals will continue to be made out of the open, from-scratch kitchen, which includes many classic Chinese woks. The menu includes Pei Wei’s classic noodle and rice bowls along with soups, salads and small plate offerings.
The company is planning to open 10 more Pei Wei locations by end of 2017 including Daejeon Galleria Department Store and Busan Seomyun Lotte Department Store.
