Washington, D.C.-based multiconcept operator Clover Restaurant Group has opened its fifth Café Deluxe unit in the D.C. metropolitan area, and its first in a hotel property.

The casual American bistro concept is now at home on the ground floor of a newly constructed high-rise Hilton Garden Inn in D.C.'s West End neighborhood.

Designed by GTM Architects, the 5,000-square-foot restaurant features rich-colored leather booths, dark stained hardwood and bistro-style tile flooring, mahogany furniture, large-format feature lighting and oversized mirrors. For indoor-outdoor appeal and to help create a bustling bistro ambiance, floor-to-ceiling, accordion-style windows open up to the neighborhood and sidewalk seating area.

The dining room accommodates up to 124 people with seating for 38 at the marble-topped bar, which offers an extensive wine and beer menu with 13 beers on tap. A private dining space with capacity to seat up to 40 offers personalized menus, natural lighting, audiovisual capabilities and complementary Wi-Fi, among other amenities. An additional 2,500 square feet of banquet space, which can be divided into thirds, is available for corporate and social events with catering by Cafe Deluxe.

"This is an exciting opportunity for us to share the fresh, creative food and vibrant spirit of Cafe Deluxe with the downtown community," said Brian Sullivan, president of Clover Restaurant Group. "We look forward to being a new neighborhood go-to for people who live and work in or visit the area."
