International Dairy Queen has signed a deal to open up 50 DQ Grill & Chill locations in the Republic of Korea over the next five years.

Dairy Queen Announces South Korea Expansion

The agreement is with the privately held M2G USA Investment, which has a diversified business portfolio that includes hotel and restaurant operations, including an ownership stake in Taco Bell operations in Korea.

The Grill & Chill locations will serve burgers, chicken strips, sandwiches and ice cream treats.

This deal expands Dairy Queen’s already strong international presence. Of its 6,700 total locations, 2,200 are outside the United States.
